Meetings
All of our meetings are conducted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and, with the exception of executive sessions, are open to the public. Some meetings are filmed by TVW, the state's public television system.
Public hearings are held to provide citizens an opportunity to present testimony, comment on the salary proposal being considered, and to hear other issues related to the salary, duties and responsibilities of the elected officials. These meetings are usually held in cities around the state and virtually to provide citizen access to, and involvement in, the decision-making process.
We encourage and welcome your attendance at our meetings, we offer both virtual and in-person meetings at this time. Although as reflected below on our schedule, the three evening meetings in November, December, and January will be held entirely virtually. This is due to the travel freeze and budget constraints. If you wish to attend a meeting virtually please see our schedule below and click on the “TEAMS” link next to the date of the meeting you wish to attend. If you wish to comment but cannot attend a meeting, click on Contact Us for information about how to inform us of your views.
